Danforth Artisan Show and Sidewalk Art Festival
August 10th 9am - 4pm
On August 10, the public is invited to explore and celebrate three new downtown projects - a fishway, riverside park, and open-air pavilion while enjoying events held throughout the day.
There will be music, food, and an Artisan market. Join funders, congressional representatives, project contractors, and others for a grand opening of the fishway at 11 am. The library will host an open house of their recent expansion, a Sidewalk Art Show, and Chili Contest while Danforth's Union Hall will be open to showcase the area's vivid past with photos, memorabilia, and offer hourly viewing of the film "The History of Danforth", which aired on MPBN, starting at 12 pm.
